1. Parties and relationship with Apple
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is concluded solely between you and Janos Felix Kehl, not Apple. Janos Felix Kehl alone is responsible for Druckarchiv and its content. Apple is not a party to this EULA.
Provider and licensor:
Janos Felix Kehl, sole proprietor

2. Application and mandatory rights
This EULA applies to version 1.0 of Druckarchiv obtained from the Apple App Store for Mac or iPad. It supplements the applicable Apple Usage Rules. Mandatory law and non-waivable Apple Usage Rules applicable to the app prevail in the event of a conflict. Nothing in this EULA limits mandatory consumer, warranty, update or liability rights.
3. License scope
Upon a valid purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use Druckarchiv on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Usage Rules.
Version 1.0 is licensed only to natural persons for predominantly private, non-commercial hobby use. Where Apple actually makes Purchase Sharing available for this app purchase, the license also covers eligible members of your Apple Family Sharing group. Each eligible family member may manage their own private 3D printing collections. This does not create any distribution or sublicensing right outside Apple's sharing mechanism.
Occasional sales of individual items you print, or the mere possibility of later income, do not by themselves make the use commercial. The license does not cover use mainly or directly for a business or self-employed professional activity, including ongoing management of business model or product inventory, order processing, production organization or systematic profit-making. The actual primary purpose matters; no fixed file, model, revenue or sales threshold applies.
Businesses, self-employed persons using the app in their business, schools, universities, associations, libraries, makerspaces, public authorities and other organizations do not generally receive a separate institutional-use license. This applies whether or not the organization is for profit. The following exception for Apple usage rights remains applicable.
Where the Apple Usage Rules applicable to this app purchase permit access and use by other eligible accounts through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, the license covers that use. The preceding restrictions on commercial and institutional use apply only to the extent that they do not conflict with those Apple usage rights or mandatory law. A separate commercial or institutional license beyond those rights is not included in version 1.0.
4. Prohibited use
Except where mandatory law permits otherwise, you may not modify, adapt, decompile, reverse engineer, republish, mirror, resell, rent, lend or sublicense Druckarchiv. You may not circumvent technical protections or use the app unlawfully or contrary to applicable third-party terms.
Bundled open-source components are governed by their own licenses. Any modification, redistribution or source-code rights granted by those licenses remain unaffected by Druckarchiv’s own license restrictions.
You may use local models and files only where you have the necessary rights. Druckarchiv neither supplies nor hosts models and grants no rights in content that you select.
5. Local libraries and changes to real files
Druckarchiv processes selected library folders locally on your Mac. Following your explicit action, it may add files, create folders, and rename, move or place files and folders in the operating system's Trash. The selection and destination should be shown and confirmed before moving or trashing items, and existing files must not be silently overwritten. If moving an item to Trash fails, Druckarchiv must not fall back to permanent deletion.
Restoration from the system Trash may not be available, particularly on external or network drives. Keep independent backups of important libraries before performing file operations. This warning is not a blanket waiver of liability.
On the iPad, Druckarchiv copies files selected through Apple's Files picker into its own local library. Source files are unchanged. The iPad library is separate from the Mac libraries; no automatic synchronization between the devices is provided. Removing the app may remove its local files and library data. Keep independent backups. The iPad version does not provide the macOS system Trash workflow or desktop slicer handoff.
6. Preview, file formats and slicers
Interactive local 3D preview is intended for STL, 3MF and OBJ. Other optional formats may be indexed and organized without any promise of preview, conversion or compatibility with every slicer.
On the Mac, selected compatible local files may be handed to a separately installed version of OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer or another slicer selected through the macOS system dialog. Druckarchiv does not convert the files. Format support and processing depend on the relevant slicer version. The third-party program's terms apply; no partnership, certification or endorsement between Druckarchiv and its publisher is claimed.
7. Privacy and network connections
Core features work locally. There is no Druckarchiv account, telemetry or model upload. Updates are delivered exclusively through the Apple App Store. Core features remain available offline after successful Apple purchase verification. Initial purchase verification and restoration or refresh of the Apple purchase record start only after your explicit selection and may require a connection to Apple. See the app privacy policy for details.
8. Maintenance, support and updates
Janos Felix Kehl is responsible for maintenance and support to the extent specified in this EULA or required by law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Druckarchiv.
No additional fixed update or support period is promised. During the period required by applicable law, functional, compatibility and security updates necessary to maintain conformity will be provided through the Apple App Store, and users will be informed about available required updates. Optional new features and further adaptations follow product planning. Support for every current or future macOS or iPadOS version is not promised indefinitely.
9. Warranty, refunds and claims
Mandatory warranty and consumer rights apply. If Druckarchiv fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price under its applicable terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Druckarchiv. Janos Felix Kehl remains responsible for other legally attributable claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from a failure to conform.
Refund requests for the Apple-processed purchase are submitted through reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support and handled under Apple's terms. Druckarchiv cannot reverse an Apple-processed payment and promises no refund beyond statutory rights or remedies provided by Apple. Legal claims made directly against Janos Felix Kehl will be considered on their merits and will not be rejected solely because Apple processed the payment.
10. Product and intellectual-property claims
Janos Felix Kehl, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to Druckarchiv or your possession or use of it. These include product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer-protection or privacy law.
If a third party claims that Druckarchiv or its authorized use infringes intellectual-property rights, Janos Felix Kehl, not Apple, is responsible to the extent required by law for investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
11. Liability
Janos Felix Kehl's liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence, culpable injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory liability rules. For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the loss typically foreseeable. Liability for other slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer and warranty rights remain unaffected.
12. Legal compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with all applicable laws and third-party terms when using the app.
13. Apple as third-party beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Upon your acceptance of this EULA, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce it against you as a third-party beneficiary.
14. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections in the country of their habitual residence. No exclusive venue is agreed for consumers.
15. Final provisions
If a provision is ineffective, the remaining provisions remain unaffected and mandatory law applies in its place. Changes to this EULA will be made only as permitted by law and published with a new version and effective date.
